Exhibition Design

If you want to apply for this Master’s degree programme you need to have

• a relevant Bachelor’s degree or
• equivalent qualification.

German and English are the languages of instruction, and knowledge of these languages at least at level B2 is required.

Detail on the admission requirements

The admission requirements are fulfilled with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Design from FH JOANNEUM or a comparable domestic or foreign degree from the following fields:

• Communication Design
• Architecture
• Interior Design
• Stage Design
• Interaction Design
• Industrial Design
• Media Design
• Game Design
• UX Design

In addition, a qualified degree in certain humanities and artistic degree programmes or relevant individual studies ( studium irregulare) enables participation in the Master’s degree programme.

The following degree programmes offered at universities, technical universities or art universities are considered humanities and artistic degree programmes, whereby at least a Bachelor’s degree is required:

• Restoration
• Conservation
• Cultural Studies
• Art History
• Curation
• Marketing

In ambiguous cases, the head of degree programme will decide whether the candidate meets the admission requirements. You will be notified of the decision once we have received your full set of application documents.
