In the Research Lab in the second semester, you will develop your own research project in teams. The research project comprises the research design, the necessary data collection, analysis, visualisation and interpretation of the gathered data as well as the writing of a research report based on scientific standards.
In the Business Lab in the second semester, you will develop a business idea as well as a related strategy and business plan for a startup operating in an emerging market. Social business ideas are preferred.
In the fourth semester, you will have the opportunity to start your working life while still studying. We works closely with numerous companies and clusters that regularly provide topics for our students’ master’s theses. Within our project-lecture “Company Dialogue” you will be able establish business contacts with representatives from companies active in emerging markets and/or developing countries.
The Local Student Program has become a central part of EYA (European Youth Award), challenging students to analyse the winning projects, to develop concepts for the projects, and to present their results within one day only.
