OpenSense

Mindfulness training in virtual reality: the integrative mind-body based approach may help to change the way people think and feel in a positive sense. A technical VR prototype developed in OpenSense is intended to raise awareness of various aspects of sensory perception through virtual mindfulness training and aims to motivate people with dementia to stimulate their senses in everyday life.

The project aims to prevent obesity using a dual strategy.

Education and teaching concepts for healthy nutrition

The “Education and Teaching Concepts” project carried out by the Health Perception Lab (HPL) aims to prevent obesity using a dual strategy: the computer game “Zebra goes shopping” aims to teach children about healthy eating. Teaching materials are also being developed for pre-school teachers to enable them to carry out a range of exciting experiments with food.
