Red Dot Award 2023 for FABRYK

Our graduate Sarah Frühwirt was honored with the prestigious Red Dot Award in the category of Brands & Communication Design for her master's thesis.
There are many ways to market oneself and one’s design products. However, young design talents in particular are often overwhelmed by the wide range of possibilities. The aim of this master’s thesis by Carina Rieder and Sarah Frühwirt was the development of a screen design shown in a webshop‒prototype for students and alumni of the Design department at FH JOANNEUM.
The website should provide a platform for students to sell their own design products. The focus of Carina Rieder’s work was on the user experience design, the interface design and the testing of the website, which was evaluated by means of a prototype. In the course of this master’s thesis, the brand for this online shop called FABRYK was developed and a brand guide was created by Sarah Frühwirt. Her branding was honored with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.
