Semester Abroad

English is the language of our knowledge society, and especially in the world of ICT. That makes intercultural skills and fluency in English particularly important for our students. Future employers place great value on a rounded education, and this is achieved by offering a semester spent abroad.

How does it work?

Our students have the opportunity to spend the third or fourth semester abroad at one of our partner universities. If there are more applicants than places available, our International Coordinator will organise a selection procedure: selection is decided on the basis of grade point averages.

Where possible, the required ECTS are obtained whilst studying abroad. If the partner institution does not offer a comparable course students must take the relevant exam on their return to Graz.

Partner universities

Our partner institutions are hand-picked: we take particular care to see that our students also receive an outstanding education abroad, and we are constantly working to extend our network.
