40 lecturers currently look after 120 students (ratio 1:3). You’ll have access at all times to modern facilities giving you the best possible support for your assignments and projects: two networking labs with special equipment (Cisco Academy), two new media and multimedia labs, two operating system labs, a high availability lab, a digital creativity lab, a touch IT lab for innovative projects and installations in addition to the VisionSpace perception lab and several project labs.

TRIMOTEP

The key aim of the project is to provide training support for patients with total hip replacement during and after clinical rehabilitation in their own home using an augmented reality (AR) exer-game (proof of concept).

Schrotty

The Schrotty (“scrap”) project makes children and youngsters aware of the problem of electronic waste while exploring creative ways of dealing more carefully with the valuable raw materials. In workshops and experiments, alternatives such as repairing, upcycling and recycling are examined together with the children and youngsters, outlining an alternative to the throw-away mentality.

More media transparency

The MEHR!Medientransparenz (MORE!Media Transparency) project focuses on showing how much money public institutions in Austria spend on media cooperation and media advertising. Based on data published by the Austrian Regulatory Authority for Broadcasting and Telecommunications (RTR), the website www.medien-transparenz.at offers some clear insights into tax-funded media cooperation and media subsidies in Austria.
