Research Speed Networking goes EU4DUAL

Interdisciplinary networking event for researchers @FHJ
Research Speed Networking goes EU4DUAL: FH-weites interdisziplinäres Vernetzungsevent

Interdisciplinary creative networking and exchange of ideas: the second Research Speed Networking event brought together researchers from different departments for time-efficient networking and an update on current R&D developments at FH JOANNEUM.

The event kicked off by highlighting the many opportunities for research within the EU4DUAL project. FH JOANNEUM’s participation in the European University Alliance EU4DUAL offers attractive opportunities for FH JOANNEUM researchers to network with other researchers with similar interests from the EU4DUAL partner universities and to engage in innovative research activities. Johanna Muckenhuber from the Institute of Social Work and Nina Besirevic from the EU4DUAL project team gave short, motivating presentations on the latest R&D developments and opportunities for collaboration in EU4DUAL.

The participants then exchanged contacts and information during the speed networking session. During the three-minute intensive discussion rounds, new contacts were made, and many common ideas were found. With this series of events, the Research Organisation and Services Department aims to promote new and exciting collaborations between the departments and institutes at FH JOANNEUM. This event showcases the diversity of research approaches in an enriching and dynamic atmosphere. We are already looking forward to a continuation in spring 2024!
