What is the admissions process?

The admissions process consists of

  • the submission of a full set of application documents,
  • an assessment of your portfolio,
  • an interview with the admissions committee,
  • a ranking by average grades obtained in the Bachelor’s or Diploma degree programme,
  • an assessment of your previous qualifications and an interview.

Assessment of the portfolio

You will be invited to design and submit a portfolio if you meet the admission requirements and your documents are complete and were submitted on time.

The portfolio will be used to assess the quality of your architectural and design skills.

The personal interview

All candidates are invited to a personal interview. You are given the opportunity to demonstrate both your knowledge in the field of architecture and your motivation, suitability and talent for the chosen course of study and a subsequent career in this field.

The interview will be conducted by key staff from the Institute. It will last around 20 minutes.

You will receive an email with detailed information about the interview in good time before the interview.

Assessment of previous qualifications

The form of your application, professional experience and relevant continuing education are taken into account as additional criteria for admission.
