What is the admissions process?

Since the Master’s degree programme in Digital Entrepreneurship offers only 20 places each year, the students are carefully selected by means of an admission process. All applicants who meet the admission requirements will be invited to take part in this process.

All decisions on admission will be made in an objective and transparent manner based on the admission process, which consists of the following parts (the relevant weighting factors for the decision admission are given in brackets):

  • Written admission test for determining innovative capacity, startup inclination and entrepreneurial skills (30 %)
  • Personal suitability as reflected in the admission interview (50 %)
  • Overall assessment of relevant professional experience (10 %)
  • Overall assessment of relevant previous qualifications (10 %)

Due to the exceptional circumstances, the written assessment test and interview in 2021 will be carried out online.

The admissions process consists of:

  • a full set of application documents,
  • a written online assessment test,
  • an assessment of your previous qualifications and professional experience and
  • an online interview with the admissions committee.

The form of the application will also be taken into consideration.

The online interview

You will be invited to an interview if you meet the admission requirements and have submitted your application in full by the deadline. You will receive an email with detailed information about the online interview in good time before the interview.

The interview will be conducted online via video call. The applicant must confirm that no unauthorised aids are used and no one else is present to help. The applicant must present official photo identification at the beginning of the interview.

In addition to questions about motivation, career plans, your expectations as well as your team skills and soft skills, the interview may also examine subject-specific knowledge. The subject-specific topics include:

  • Innovative capacity
  • Startup inclination
  • Entrepreneurial skills

You have the opportunity to demonstrate your specialist knowledge and motivation, suitability and aptitude for the course and for a career in dgital business. The interview is conducted by the admission committee for the programme. It will last between 20 and 40 minutes.
