Me in three Emojis: 🗂️🏞️🧁
In my free time: I recharge my batteries outdoors in nature – preferably while hunting. Inside, I find my balance by baking, drawing or reading a good book.
This was the coolest internship: I was allowed to accompany an IT project from start to finish – including everything that goes with it: planning, coordination, unplanned night shifts. It taught me a lot – especially how valuable to-do lists are.
I used to want to be an artist – now I draw procedures and processes instead of portraits. And sometimes I still doodle in meetings.
If I hadn’t studied Mobile Software Development or, subsequently, IT Law & Management, I would probably be a confectioner today – with a love of detail, but much more icing than time pressure.
This is where I spent my time after the lectures: mostly outside with a coffee in the sun.
The best food on campus: Definitely the communal barbecues in the campus courtyard.
My favorite place on campus: Definitely the couch by the coffee machine – strategically located between the caffeine source and the balcony escape route.
This is how I celebrated my graduation: With family and friends over pizza and beer in the garden – very simple, but with the pride of a winner.
Tell us what your job is without telling us what your job is: I keep track of the digital chaos – while pulling on the left, juggling on the right and asking the existential question in the middle.
If my studies were an animal, it would be a border collie – clever, tireless, sometimes overwhelmed by its own ambition, but satisfied when everything is in its place at the end.
You definitely learn that during your studies: How to approach problems in a structured way – and that Google and teamwork are your best friends.
I struggled a bit with this course: my start as a lateral entrant: the first programming course. I didn’t know what a bug was, but suddenly I had lots of them.
Fun fact from my studies? Unnecessary knowledge? My first program code had more comments than working lines – but it worked!
Learn to organize yourself well – this will save you an enormous amount of stress. And don’t forget to take a deep breath from time to time and take your head out of the screen.

I work as a project manager in the IT sector and am mainly responsible for coordinating projects, communicating with team members and customers and ensuring the quality of technical implementations. Originally, I only wanted to get a taste of it during my final year of my Bachelor’s degree – I stayed because I enjoyed the work more than I expected.
What I particularly like about my job is the variety and the sense of achievement when a project is successfully completed after countless emails, meetings and changes to plans. Of course, there are also stressful phases – especially when spontaneous changes upset the schedule. Day-to-day work requires organizational talent, technical understanding, strong communication skills and, above all, a cool head.
My goal is to switch to project management in the medium term and take on more responsibility. During my studies, I learned a lot, especially through practical exercises in project management, teamwork and problem solving. Reconciling work and studies was often a challenge – but with lots of coffee, little sleep, but strong family support and a great deal of stamina, it still worked out.
