The presentation of the Teaching Awards is an annual highlight at FH JOANNEUM and emphasises the quality culture in teaching. Lecturers are first nominated by their students in a two-stage process. The 40 lecturers with the highest number of votes are then invited to submit their didactic concepts anonymously. These concepts are assessed by a jury of 12 experts.

- Elisabeth Schwab, Lecturer at the institute Occupational Therapy
- Isabella Sumerauer, Lecturer at the institute Health Care and Nursing
The Teaching Award Plus 2024 will be presented for the best didactic concept submitted for this year’s special topic ‘Communicating complex content in an “uncomplicated” way’ to:
- Marianne Alb, Researcher at the institute Architecture and Civil Engineering
- Marlene Loidl, Researcher at the institute Energy, Transport and Environmental Management
- Thomas Mathoi, Senior Lecturer at the institute Architecture and Civil Engineering
- Karen Meixner, Lecturer at the institute Social Work
- Jeannine Schieder, Lecturer at the institute Energy, Transport and Environmental Management
- Matthias Theißing, Associate Professor at the institute Energy, Transport and Environmental Management
The award-winning didactic concepts will be presented at the Lunch & Learn events at FH JOANNEUM from January 2025.
