Students (under 24) must demonstrate financial means of €672.64 per month for 12 months, deposited in their name in a foreign savings book or bank account accessible from Austria.
Graduates can stay in Austria for another 12 months to seek employment. Upon finding a job relevant to their field of study and meeting criteria like minimum salary, they receive a regular Red-White-Red Card, allowing them to remain and work in Austria.
Students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week- providing opportunities to gain practical experience and cover the living costs (starting from €600 per month).
