Journalism and Public Relations (PR)
After Graduation
Many career options are open to you as a graduate of Journalism and Public Relations (PR), either in journalism or the communications sector. The range of occupations are as varied as the media world itself, and are developing rapidly.
You can demonstrate your journalistic know-how in traditional newspaper and TV editorial offices, in radio or online media, or use your expertise for cross-media communication. Equally, there are as many openings on offer in PR, whether organising press conferences in a PR agency or being responsible for a company’s social media communications. Or you create your own job and run your own business.
You can also continue your studies on a Master’s degree programme, whether in the Department of Media and Design at FH JOANNEUM, or at another university in Austria or abroad.
