Semester abroad

Intercultural specialist and language skills are required by many employers in the field of social work. We therefore place great importance on enabling our students to spend a semester abroad.

How does it work?

The Social Work programme offers students the chance to spend a semester at a university abroad in Germany, Spain, Great Britain, Ireland, Romania, Bulgaria or Switzerland. The third and/or fourth semester is set aside for this study abroad period. Our International Coordinator will support students with organising the semester abroad. The content of the courses is compared in collaboration with the partner universities and suitable classes which can count towards the course are identified together with the student in question. Regular information sessions and consultations take place where students can find out more about spending a semester abroad.
