Semester abroad

The Electronics and Computer Engineering degree programme gives you the opportunity to operate internationally and to gain experience abroad. The fifth semester is delivered entirely in English. We will help you – and our teaching staff – during the period spent abroad and we also give you the opportunity to collaborate in international projects. It is particularly important for students on the Electronics and Computer Engineering course to spend time abroad as virtually every firm in this sector is geared towards the international market. We’ll support you with your plans. You can spend a semester at one of our partner universities, carry out your internship abroad or write your Bachelor’s thesis abroad.

How does it work?

The semester abroad can be completed in the fifth semester in line with the curriculum. You can apply for an Erasmus+ grant to cover the higher living costs if completing the semester in Europe. If you are going to be staying outside Europe you can apply for various other forms of funding and we are happy to help with this.

Partner universities

We have succeeded in establishing teaching and project partnerships with various prestigious universities through a number of projects, cooperative ventures and personal contacts. This international collaboration on innovative projects feeds the latest technical findings into teaching and also offers students the opportunity to become involved in project work. We continually strive to improve our programme with our partner universities so that you derive maximum benefit from your time with them.
