The vast majority of our students who graduate in Construction Planning and Economics go on to take the Master's degree programme in Construction Management and Engineering or in Architecture at FH JOANNEUM. Those of our graduates who decide to step straight into a career can choose from the following options:

  • architectural and engineering offices
  • the building sector
  • the construction industry
  • general contractors
  • planning offices
  • construction and project management offices
  • public administration
  • property development
  • the real estate sector
  • product development in the construction industry

Our graduates who have specialised in Engineering are mainly employed in application and implementation planning, structural engineering and analysis, tendering and contracting, calculation, construction including scheduling, preparation, accounting and construction supervision.

Our graduates who have specialised in Architecture are mainly employed in simple design planning, application planning, implementation and detail planning, tendering and contracting and collaborating in construction processes.

Ongoing foreign language tuition equips our graduates to work in an international environment.
