Radiography

After Graduation

Career paths

Many students begin their professional careers directly after graduation. Our graduates are employed in university clinics, public and private hospitals, rehabilitation centres, outpatient clinics and surgeries. Other areas of activity include science and research, industry, radiology information technology, and radiation protection. Veterinary medicine is a further option.

Radiographers enjoy excellent job prospects. Experience shows that the majority of graduates secure a job within three months of graduating at the latest. There is also demand for their services abroad. Average gross starting salaries begin at €2,300 to €2,500 per month (Source: AMS).

Graduates can also go on to complete a Master's degree if they wish to specialise or move into a management position.
