Sustainable Food Management

My Studies



Three internships are planned as part of the Sustainable Food Management course. During the second semester, our students complete an agricultural internship over a four week period. Students can select a business of their choice across Austria. We recommend consulting the farm list issued by the WWOOF organisation so that students can properly submerse themselves in the issues of organic and sustainable primary production.

During the second year, two periods of three months each are set aside for an internship in food processing and trade.

The internships in different sectors enable our students to acquire specialist knowledge in a range of areas and to apply their theory-based expertise in practice. These internships in the various fields of the value chain enable our students to acquire a wide range of skills in addition to making important contacts for the future.
