Health Care and Nursing

During the course of their numerous internships, our students gather experience which will ensure they are ideally prepared for their future careers. The internships are supervised by trained healthcare and nursing professionals on-site. Reflection seminars give you the opportunity to discuss and reflect on any actions taken and experiences acquired during the internship.

The practical training encompasses the fields of acute care, long-term care, mobile care, prevention and rehabilitation and should be undertaken either at healthcare institutions or social welfare facilities. There is also the possibility of looking for an internship post abroad.

Internships are carried out in all six semesters of the Healthcare and Nursing course and cover a total of 2,300 hours. Internships can be done at acute care, long-term care, mobile care, prevention and rehabilitation facilities as well as working with freelance professionals of the healthcare and nursing sector and in public services.
