KN 415 21 004: Affiliated Lecturer for “Strategic Management” (2 SWS)

Master degree program „Automotive Engineering“ in Graz

 

The Master´s degree program “Automotive Engineering“ at FH JOANNEUM offers a broad curriculum to the automotive engineering master´s degree students and thus prepares them well for the various professional fields in the industry. The lecture “Strategic Management” is an integral part of the curriculum of the second semester.

This course invites students to get insights into the basics of strategic management with a special focus on entrepreneurship: If everybody in an organization acts entrepreneurial, self-dependent, responsible, with self-motivation, it is seen as a promising way to tackle the aforementioned challenges. This course should highlight how future managers can use entrepreneurship and ignite entrepreneurship-thinking in their co-workers to successfully innovate on various levels.

An integrated lecture (class room lecture with integrated exercises and examples from industry) shall be taught in English.
Various text books are available to support this lecture, but class notes with up-to-date examples shall be provided. The final exam is to be conducted in accordance with the study guidelines.

General requirements for lecturers:
Completed higher education or relevant academy training; promotion or other proof of competence in scientific work; 5-year qualified relevant professional practice, of which, if possible, three years have been practised outside a university (or habilitation); Proof of corresponding pedagogical-didactic suitability.
