Master‘s Degree Programme Content Strategy

 

The course is offered as an elective in the third semester. The course contents of the cross-media practice include theoretical as well as practical knowledge for the design, commissioning and analysis of videos and multimedia projects:

  • Characteristics of the different media
  • Dramaturgy of stories
  • Specifications of storytelling on the web
  • Long forms

Learning outcomes:

Students have an overview of various relevant formats of multimedia content, important trends and best practice examples from the field. They are able to evaluate these examples based on their own requirements. They know about visualization and illustration of concepts and cooperation with visual designers. They have the ability to independently execute content-strategic storytelling processes from briefing to implementation, to lead teams and to master all cross-media challenges.

Completed higher education or relevant academy training; promotion or other proof of competence in scientific work; 5-year qualified relevant professional practice, of which, if possible, three years have been practised outside a university (or habilitation); Proof of corresponding pedagogical-didactic suitability.
