1994-1996 Freier Mitarbeiter am Ordinariat für Software Engineering der Technischen Universität Graz, Mitwirkung in verschiedenen nationalen und internationalen Projekten im Bereich Software Prozess Verbesserung

1997-1998 Berater für die Promatis Consulting Gmbh Graz in den Bereichen Geschäftsprozessmodellierung und -optimierung sowie Entwicklung von Datenbank zentrierten Informationssystemen

1998-2000 Zunächst Referent für Organisationsentwicklung im Präsidialamt der Stadt Graz. Ab 1999 Leitung der Projektgruppe "Verwaltungsreform 2003" in der Magistratsdirektion. Zuständig für die Einführung des New Public Management in der Stadtverwaltung Graz

Seit 1.1.2001 hauptberuflich Lehrender am Studiengang Informationsmanagement der FH JOANNEUM. Zuständig für die Bereiche Software Engineering und Datenbanken.
